The two styles are very similar in structure and performance, except ceramic braces incorporate tooth-coloured brackets and wires, helping them to blend in with the rest of your smile for a more attractive, seamless appearance.
Once your braces are ready, your dentist will attach the ceramic, tooth-coloured brackets to the front of each tooth and connect the brackets with wires, which are typically transparent for optimal discretion.
At your regular check-ups, the dentist will gradually tighten the wires, encouraging your teeth to continue moving further until they reach the correct position.
If you would like more information about ceramic braces, call us on 0141 632 1378 to book an initial consultation.
